The NBA Rising Stars Invitational is back for a second edition, bringing together the best boys' and girls' high school teams from across Asia-Pacific.
Taking place at Singapore's OCBC Arena from Tuesday, June 23, to Sunday, June 28, the tournament will also feature a star-studded list of basketball greats to mentor the teams.
[Los Angeles Lakers](https://www.sportingnews.com/au/nba/los-angeles-lakers) Japanese forward Rui Hachimura will be joined by NBA champion, six-time All-Star, and Hall of Famer Mitch Richmond, Jeremy Lin, as well as two-time WNBA champion and three-time WNBA MVP Lauren Jackson.
"I’m honored to be part of the second NBA Rising Stars Invitational and see some of the best high- school teams the region has to offer," Hachimura said.
"Having played high-school basketball in Japan, I understand how meaningful opportunities like this can be at the early stages of a player’s journey, and I’m excited to be part of a program that helps inspire the next generation of players from Asia-Pacific."
The basketball legends will be in attendance to participate in coaching clinics and leadership panels, along with fan meet-and-greets.
The tournament will feature 12 boys’ and 12 girls’ under-18 teams, competing in round robin play, before single elimination games.
Among the 24 teams, two Australian schools will feature across the boys' and girls' division in Berwick College and Rowville Secondary College, both from Victoria.
