Newcastle United star Sandro Tonali continues to be the focus of attention with the transfer window now 10 days away from opening.

There are no guarantees that Tonali will stay on Tyneside, and he remains one of the Magpies' most sellable assets this summer.

In the past 24 hours, there is talk that Manchester City see the Italian international as the ideal alternative if they fail to land ex-United youngster Elliot Anderson.

After Nottingham Forest made it clear they want at least £100m for Anderson, Tonali could come in for a smaller fee - although Newcastle will stick to their guns when it comes to an asking price.

Tonali is also attracting interest from Arsenal, although the Gunners do have other priorities this summer.

But after winning the Premier League title, Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke is reportedly prepared to inject £250m into sporting director Andrea Berta's spending pot.

If that proves to be the case, a bidding war for Tonali could unfold with his agent Giuseppe Riso assessing his client's options ahead of the summer.

Manchester United also like Tonali with Michael Carrick also set to get more funds to spend after the £35million arrival of Ederson from Atalanta.

Both players want to stay at Newcastle but national reports suggested the pair could have a price on their shoulders if Eddie Howe has to make squad sales this summer.

Willock was a long-term target of Fulham, but the move did not come off last summer, and after Marco Silva's departure from Craven Cottage, it remains to be seen whether there is fresh interest.

Willock stated in an end of season interview that he felt his future lies at Newcastle and underlined his focus and commitment to life at St James' Park.

Murphy, 31, has one year left on his contract and his preference would be to see out his career at the club he has supported since he was a kid.

Natan

The Real Betis centre-back has been linked with the Magpies and would cost around £39m according to reports in Spain.

The 25-year-old is a left-sided centre-back with United currently stocked well on that side with Sven Botman and Dan Burn.

Natan stands at 6ft 2in and reports say only an exceptional offer for his services would be considered by the La Liga outfit and he is contracted until 2030 so the Spanish side can stand firm on their demands.
