Middlesbrough, Bolton Wanderers, Wolves and Burnley linked with Liverpool’s Kieran Morrison
Middlesbrough are reportedly set to show interest in signing winger Kieran Morrison on loan from Liverpool.
The 19-year-old is among the most exciting young talents on the books at Anfield but faces stiff competition for places in Andoni Iraola’s squad.
Although he is already a senior Northern Ireland international, the teenager has been afforded just two outings at first-team level for Liverpool.

Middlesbrough linked with Liverpool winger
According to SportsBoom, Middlesbrough are among the clubs who will show interest in taking Morrison on loan for the 2026/27 campaign.
Boro previously aided the development of ex-Liverpool prospect Ben Gannon-Doak, who they borrowed for the 2024/25 season. However, the North Yorkshire club are not thought to the only club on Morrison’s trail.
Newly-promoted Championship outfit Bolton Wanderers have been named among his admirers, as have relegated Premier League clubs Wolverhampton Wanderers and Burnley. There is also thought to be interest in securing his signature from German outfit Schalke.
Kieran Morrison’s career development
Morrison has had plenty of exposure to youth football and looks ready to test himself on a regular basis in the men’s game. For Liverpool, if a loan is decided as the wideman’s next step, it will be a case of picking the club best-placed to nurture his talent.
Morrison’s senior debut came in a Carabao Cup loss to Crystal Palace last October and was followd by an outing in Liverpool’s FA Cup win over Wolves in March. He made the bench for seven Premier League fixtures last term but did not enter the fray.

Morrison’s senior international debut came yesterday (June 4), in Northern Ireland’s 1-0 friendly victory over Guinea.
Post-match, Northern Ireland boss Michael O’Neill said: “Kieran gave a good account of himself in the first half and I thought that Ceadach [O’Neill] was very good when he came on.”
