According to his agent, Jeremy Medjana, Wembanyama has turned down millions of dollars from soda companies that were hoping to secure an endorsement deal with him.
"We’re not gonna mix his image with sodas like Coca-Cola," Medjana told Jared Weiss of The Athletic. "They all want him, but Victor will never sell soda. Because he doesn't want to kill the kids."
Wembanyama has officially established himself among the very best players in the NBA, winning the Defensive Player of the Year award and leading the Spurs to their first NBA Finals appearance since 2014.
This season, Wembanyama averaged 24.6 points, 11.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 3.2 blocks in around 30 minutes per game. He was also selected to his second NBA All-Star Game and finished third in MVP voting.
