Arne Slot is already being linked with a return to management after being fired by Liverpool, with claims that he’s being eyed for another Premier League job.
Slot was dismissed after two years in charge at Anfield last weekend, having overseen a poor second season in charge after winning the Premier League title in his first campaign. The decision came as a surprise to most, with Liverpool having been backing the Dutchman even as he came under increasing pressure from supporters.
Andoni Iraola has now been confirmed as his replacement, with the former Bournemouth boss unveiled on Thursday. If reports are to be believed though, he could end up coming up against Slot next season.
According to TeamTalk, the Reds’ former head coach has been identified as a contender for the Fulham job after it was confirmed that Marco Silva will be leaving the club. The 48-year-old has been heavily linked with taking over at Benfica, with Jose Mourinho expected to leave his post in Lisbon to return to Real Madrid - subject to the upcoming Presidential election.
Fulham is claimed to be preparing to open talks with a number of managerial targets, with three names under “serious consideration”. One of them is Slot, who is said to be admired internally at Craven Cottage.
Former Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim and ex-Tottenham manager Thomas Frank are also said to be in the running, with both without a job after being dismissed during the season.

Fulham is said to be planning to hold talks over the coming days before deciding which candidates to pursue.
Slot has already been linked with a number of jobs since being dismissed from Liverpool, including the vacant AC Milan job, while he is also one of the favorites to take over at Newcastle if Eddie Howe is fired after a disappointing season for the Magpies.
Writing an open letter to Liverpool fans following his exit, Slot said: “This club will always judge itself by the biggest honors. That is how it should be.
