Barcelona star Lamine Yamal has been named La Liga’s Player of the Season for the 2025-26 campaign after another stellar showing for Hansi Flick’s side.
Yamal scored 16 goals and picked up 11 assists in 28 league games as the Catalan giants successfully defended their league title.
The Spain international beat off competition from Kylian Mbappe, Pablo Fornals, Nicolas Pepe and Vedat Muriqi to claim the coveted prize.
Yamal joins Hansi Flick and Joan Garcia in winning an award from La Liga. The Barcelona teenager is now with the Spain squad and will be hoping for more silverware this summer at World Cup 2026.
