Liverpool have taken a firm stance on the future of highly-rated England youth international of Nigerian descent Rio Ngumoha amid interest from Bayern Munich.
Transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano revealed Liverpool's position on the teenager, describing him as completely 'untouchable'.
According to The Athletic, Bayern Munich are keen on securing Ngumoha's signature, with the German Bundesliga champions viewing him as a priority target to strengthen their left flank.
Despite their interest, Liverpool have no intention of entertaining any offers for the attacker as he is seen as a crucial part of the project.
Ngumoha was one of the positive stories for Liverpool during an otherwise inconsistent campaign.
The teenager's breakthrough season saw him make 29 appearances for Liverpool, scoring twice and establishing himself as one of the most exciting young talents in the Premier League.
His performances earned him a nomination for the 2025–26 PFA Young Player of the Year award, where he is shortlisted alongside Rayan Cherki, Max Dowman, Junior Kroupi, Kobbie Mainoo and Nico O'Reilly.
He was included in England's travelling squad for their pre-World Cup training camp in Florida.
