Basketball fans and sneakerheads in Arizona are lovin’ the latest release from one of the Valley’s most prominent athletes.
Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker was recently spotted working the drive-thru at the McDonald’s in Sedona. But Booker wasn’t just serving Big Macs and fries. Last week, he handed out pairs of his latest Nike Book 2 sneaker inspired by the iconic turquoise arches.
The clip went viral, with Booker arriving at the burger joint in a turquoise Chevy Blazer.
The special edition “friends and family” colorway served up in Sedona wraps Booker’s second signature sneaker totally in turquoise, with the McDonald’s logo on the heel.
Another pair, released widely earlier this week, sports a dusty, sandstone base with a turquoise Nike swoosh and McDonald’s logo.
Don’t expect to find a pair of Booker’s latest sneaker in your next Happy Meal. They sold out faster than McDonald’s hot cakes.
