Liverpool legend Mohamed Salah swapped jerseys with the NFL star Andre Szmyt ahead of Egypt taking on Brazil in Cleveland, Ohio, this weekend.
Salah and Szmyt met up ahead of the Pharaohs' final friendly before the World Cup starts. The Cleveland Browns' stadium, Huntington Bank Field, will host the clash, with Egypt relying heavily on Salah and Manchester City ace Omar Marmoush to progress when the tournament begins.
Egypt will play Belgium, New Zealand and Iran in the group phase, while Brazil has Haiti, Scotland and Morocco. Salah will come up against former Liverpool teammates Fabinho and Alisson Becker in the friendly.
The Egyptian opted to cut short his Liverpool career by a year when he confirmed his exit in March. No next destination has been confirmed yet.
Before departing, Salah aimed a jibe at head coach Arne Slot and his playing style. The Dutchman has since been replaced by Andoni Iraola, who was confirmed as taking charge on Thursday.
"I think I have the advantage that I've been here already three years in the Premier League and people for sure have seen Bournemouth play," Iraola said.

"There are some things that obviously we need to change coaching Liverpool. But I wouldn't like to lose our identity, the intensity, the aggressiveness, the organization, certain things that I would like always to have in my team.
"Obviously you have to adapt to the players you have and it's not the same, one club or the other, but there are fundamentals that I also think match quite well [with] what Liverpool has been during a lot of years that I think we can make it work.
"For me, football is about emotions. About passion. I'm quite cool-headed probably, during my life quite rational, I would say.

Liverpool FC have launched their new home kit for the 2026/27, inspired by iconic adidas strip worn during the club's 1989/90 title-winning campaign.
"But it's true that when the game starts, when you have to celebrate a goal, something is inside, no?

"I think this inner energy, you need it as a player, you need it as a supporter, you need it as a coach. No better place than Anfield."
Liverpool.com says: The Reds are right to be looking towards a more aggressive style of play moving forward but Salah didn't have the legs for that last term.
With some fresh energy in wide areas next season, Iraola should get much more out of Liverpool in terms of a pressing unit.
