That means there's a plethora of interest in attending their games against the San Antonio Spurs, especially those at the world famous Madison Square Garden.
Donald Trump confirmed that he will be attending Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Monday night, likely as a guest of owner James Dolan.
Everyone is already preparing for what that will look like, from street closures, more traffic, extra security measures, and what is expected to be an absolutely insane scene at Madison Square Garden.
During an interview with members of the press aboard Air Force One en route to Chippew Falls, Wisconsin, Donald Trump was asked about the exorbitant ticket prices for the game. According to a number of ticket resellers and marketplaces, ticket prices for Game 3 of the NBA Finals between the San Antonio Spurs and New York Knicks.

Trump says that's just the way it is.
“What do you think of the [NBA Finals] game you're going to, he cheapest ticket price is $8,000?” a reporter asked. “Everyday Americans can't afford these sporting events.”
“You can watch it on television,” Donald Trump responded. “It's sort of semi-free to watch it on television. That's the way life goes. Now if the team wasn't a big success, you can go very easily. You can do that too. But that's the way life is.”
Donald Trump will not be paying for his ticket to the game, so it's a lot easier for him to say this and move on, but a number of very real and passionate Knicks fans have been priced out of the team's championship round against Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs.
