(TNND) — President Donald Trump confirmed he will attend Game 3 of the NBA Finals at Madison Square Garden next week, where he will cheer for the New York Knicks.
James Dolan, the owner of the team, invited Trump to the game.
While answering questions from reporters on Air Force One on his way to a roundtable event in [Wisconsin](https://thenationaldesk.com/news/americas-news-now/president-donald-trump-visit-chippewa-falls-wisconsin-custer-farms-roundtable-representative-derrick-van-order-wi03-congressional-district#) on Friday, he called the Knicks "an amazing team," adding he watched the first game in the series. He said the team "started off slow and they just got stronger and stronger."
Trump also named some of his favorite players on the team, such as Victor Wembanyama, Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns.
He was also asked about Wemby crossing his arms during the "Star-Spangled Banner."
"What did he mean by that?" Trump said.
"Well, nobody asked," the reporter responded.
"Ask him," Trump said.
Trump also commented on ticket prices for the games.

If you can't afford the steep prices, Trump suggested to "watch it on television."
"It's sort of semi-free to watch it on television," Trump said. "That's the way life goes. If the team wasn't a big success, you could go very easily."
"But that's the way life is," he added.
