Joe Greene’s Interview
Pittsburgh Steelers legend Joe Greene will soon be featured in a new documentary. Greene sat down with NFL reporter John McClain to discuss former Houston Oilers QB Dan Pastorini, the team’s starting quarterback from 1971-79 and spanning the Steelers’ dynasty.
I’m an idiot! Earlier I tweeted this pic and said it was Joe Greene and Dan Pastorini. It’s not! It’s Joe and former Oilers TE Mike Barber, who was Dan’s teammate. I interviewed all 3 Monday. Mike and Joe were great interviews for our newest documentary on Pastorini. Stay tuned! pic.twitter.com/iEBJ4dkTEc

Like most opponents, Pastorini’s Oilers struggled to find success against Pittsburgh. He went 5-14 against the Steelers for his career, throwing eight touchdowns to 27 interceptions. He would later win a ring of his own with the Oakland Raiders in 1980.
No matter the outcomes, Greene is sure to have great stories of his time battling Pastorini and the Oilers.
There’s no official date for when the documentary will air.
Steelers Take On Kennywood
Pittsburgh used its final day of mandatory minicamp for a team-bonding session, keeping a tradition alive from Mike Tomlin to Mike McCarthy. The team spent the day at Kennywood, and the Steelers’ social media team shared a quick video and plenty of photos of the day.
Aaron Rodgers spent much of the afternoon with TE Robert Tonyan, his former Packers teammate signed by the Steelers yesterday.
Hopefully, the Steelers 2026 season isn’t as much of a roller coaster ride as Thursday was for the team.
Bears On The Move
The Chicago Bears are leaving Illinois. Friday, the team’s Board of Directors voted to build its next stadium in Hammond, Indiana. Though not official, the odds are high that the team will end up there in the coming years. It ends any speculation of the team staying in-state in Arlington Heights.
Hammond is about 45 minutes from the team’s current location, making the move similar to the San Francisco 49ers leaving for Santa Clara in 2014. Still, it’s a controversial decision to leave the state entirely and elicited negative reaction from many fans online.
The team’s current lease at iconic Soldier Field runs through 2033.
