The Knicks have joined the 2017 Warriors as the only teams in NBA history to win 13+ straight games in a single postseason.
The New York Knicks can't be stopped and won't be stopped en route to one of the NBA's greatest postseason runs of all time.
New York Knicks / Schedule
After securing the series opener last Wednesday, the Knicks did it again and outlasted the San Antonio Spurs with an emphatic 105-104 victory in Game 2 of the NBA Finals.
Clinching back-to-back road wins as the series now shifts to New York, the Knicks are enjoying the most out of their immense momentum to win it all. And their red-hot streak has been glowing which leads them to their first NBA title since 1973.
Game 2 victory in San Antonio propels the Knicks to their 13th consecutive postseason victory, joining Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant and the 2016-17 Golden State Warriors in a rarified club.
As it is, that dynastic Warriors team went on to win it all in 2017, beating LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in five games.
The 1993 Chicago Bulls and 1995 Houston Rockets, the only other teams to win Games 1 and 2 of the NBA Finals on the road, both went on to win the championship.
It's now up to the Knicks to get the job done on their own as they head home to New York, powered by their historically dominant run and an impassioned fanbase thirsty for a championship.
