The Brazilian goalkeeper made just 26 Premier League appearances last season, which is the fewest since his signed for the club from Roma in 2018.
The 33-year-old suffered from ongoing muscle issues all season, which heavily restricted his game time, as Liverpool limped their way towards Champions League qualification.
Such a disappointing season has led to rumours of a potential Anfield exit, especially following Arne Slot’s departure and the appointment of former Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola.
Juventus are reportedly keen on bringing the veteran goalkeeper back to Italy.
But Sandro believes Alisson should remain in Anfield and end his career at the club.
Speaking via Stake, he said: “Don't leave, don't leave; don't leave Liverpool!
“The fans respect him a lot. He created that environment where everybody loves him. He's a legend there, so stay there.
“He has, what, a couple of years more? Stay and finish well. I always want to see the player that the fans love, the player that has that identity with the club. Stay there, man. Please don't move!”
Alisson has one year remaining on his Anfield contract, which might explain why Liverpool could be considering cashing in on their legendary goalkeeper.
Since signing for the club for a then world record fee for a goalkeeper, £66.8m, Alisson has won it all with Liverpool, while also keeping 103 Premier League clean sheets in the process.
However, Liverpool may also be tempted to stick with their man between the sticks for a little longer while they continue their search for a capable, long-term replacement.
Liverpool’s number 2, Giorgi Mamardashvili, has failed to convince anyone at Anfield that he is ready to be handed the No.1 gloves long-term, with his ability to play with the ball at his feet often coming into question.
Sandro also believes Alisson will be an important member of Brazil’s World Cup squad this summer, with his country looking to win their sixth title.
He said: “For you to win, to go further in the World Cup, you have to have a great goalkeeper and I'm so happy and I'm so comforted that Alisson will be there and we are safe with him in goal.”
