Federico Chiesa looks to have confirmed that Alisson Becker will be staying at Liverpool next season, despite speculation linking him with a move to Juventus.

Alisson has 12 months remaining on his contract at Anfield after Liverpool triggered an option for an extra year in March, although that hasn’t prevented rumors suggesting that he could follow Mohamed Salah, Andy Robertson and Ibrahima Konate out of the club this summer.

Juventus is known to be interested in the goalkeeper, with rumors over the past couple of months claiming that the Italian club has made a proposal to Alisson to return to Serie A.

Recent reports though have indicated that Liverpool has no intentions of selling the Brazil international, with Alisson also said to be happy to stay on Merseyside, while Juventus has started looking at other options, with a loan move for Giorgi Mamardashvili among those to have been touted.

And, speaking to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Chiesa now looks to have confirmed that Alisson will be staying put.

“Alisson? From what I hear, he's staying in England: then we'll see,” Chiesa said.

“We're talking about one of the top five goalkeepers in the world. He's a fantastic leader, he's won everything and he makes the difference on the pitch and in the dressing room. I spent a lot of time with him and [Alexis] Mac Allister."

Liverpool FC have launched their new home kit for the 2026/27, inspired by iconic adidas strip worn during the club's 1989/90 title-winning campaign.

Chiesa himself looks much more likely to be on the move this summer, having struggled to make an impact over his two seasons at Liverpool so far.

Like Alisson, the winger has been linked with a move to Juventus - the club that sold him to Liverpool back in 2024. The Turin club’s failure to secure Champions League qualification for next season though could prove to be an issue.

Como has been touted as another option, with Cesc Fabregas’ side having finished in Serie A’s top four just two years after securing promotion to Italy’s top flight.

Addressing his future, Chiesa said: "I want to play. If I don't find consistency in the Premier League, I'll have to look elsewhere.

“I barely played in my first year at Liverpool, and in the last one, very little. I'll go on a training camp in the US, then I'll talk to the club and the new coach, Iraola, and we'll see.

“Como? I'm open to anything; the important thing is to play. I'm not so presumptuous as to say: I have to be a starter.

“I'm ready to fight for a place, anywhere. Fabregas is a top coach; no one would have ever imagined Como like this: a great team to watch, too. However, I was disappointed that Juve didn't make it to the Champions League."
