Liverpool have been handed a clear indication of just how much money it would take to lure PSG winger Bradley Barcola to Merseyside this summer.
The Reds have been accredited with being increasingly keen on the player as they look to strengthen their attack ahead of next season.
Despite Arne Slot’s dismissal, the club plans to remain active in the transfer market with attacking reinforcements high on their wishlist.
Barcola has emerged as one of the most exciting young forwards in European football over the past two seasons. The 22-year-old enjoyed another impressive campaign for PSG in 2025/26, resulting in interest from several elite clubs including Arsenal.
While there are no real signs that Barcola is pushing hard for an exit this summer, a report from France has offered an insight into the type of fee PSG would likely demand if the situation was to escalate.
Speaking about the winger’s future, le10SPORT explained: “For the moment, Bradley Barcola has not said that he wants to leave. If tomorrow, he knocks ont he door of the sports director or the president saying that he wants to leave, we are talking about Leipzig who demanded around 130million euros for Diomande, I think we will be in the same order of numbers.”
Those remarks suggest that PSG would value Barcola at around £110million, a figure that would make him one of the most expensive players in world football.
Such a valuation underlines PSG’s adoration of the player. Despite his age, after arriving from Lyon in 2023 Bradley Barcola has quickly grown to become an important part of the squad and such a price-tag represents the struggle it would take any club to lure him away from Paris.
For Liverpool, they will be aware that any potential deal for Barcola will be a challenge. The club has shown a willingness to invest heavily in elite talent but will be aware of the commitment that a £100milion pricetag brings with it after the troubled first seasons at Anfield for Florian Wirtz and Alexander Isak.
After all, the Reds are already said to be advancing in talks for RB Leipzig forward Yan Diomande and no one will expect the club to spend over £100million on each flank.
Nevertheless, Barcola’s name is unlikely to disappear from the rumour mill any time soon. Should Barcola’s stance drastically change, PSG have now made it clear that any interested club will have to pay a premium for his services.
