Tanya Brown has stated she is 'triggered' by NFL players wearing #32
Nicole Brown Simpson's sister and OJ Simpson's former sister-in-law has asked the NFL to ban the No. 32 jersey from all NFL teams - the number the contentious former running back wore in the league.
Simpson was acquitted of the murders of Ron Goldman and his ex-wife, Brown Simpson, before being found liable for the two deaths in a civil trial - told to pay out $33.5 million in damages to the families. Simpson was found not guilty in the 'Trial of the Century', one of the most widely-debated and controversial trials in living memory.
The former Buffalo Bills and San Francisco 49ers running back wrote a book in 2007 putting forward a hypothetical description of the murders, something some believe to be a confession. There had also been multiple reports of Simpson telling friends that he had committed the murders.

Simpson died in 2024 after a battle with prostate cancer, living his last seven years as a free man after being released in 2017 - having served nine years in prison for armed robbery in Las Vegas.
His name is rarely mentioned among NFL circles with the league attempting to wipe his legacy. However, he has remained in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Brown Simpson's sister, Tanya, has told TMZ that it still brings her trauma seeing NFL players wear the #32 which he once had.

Simpson wore #32 throughout his career
She said: "Every time I see someone on the field with that number, it brings me back and I have trauma.
"I would love for the NFL to realize this is very triggering as a football fan as well. I hope they take my statement into consideration and get rid of the number 32."
A former number overall pick, Simpson played 11 years in the league as one of the most dominant running backs of all-time - becoming the first to amass 2,000 rushing yards in a season. He did so in just 14 games.
