I’m not even much of an NBA fan, but what Danhausen has done for the New York Knicks is worth taking note of here. Many others are doing the same in light of the squad defeating the San Antonio Spurs in Game 2 of the NBA Finals last night in a 105-104 thriller that gave them a 2-0 lead in the series.
You can’t argue with the numbers, folks. He uncursed them and they are on a historic run that sure feels like it’s going to lead to a championship. They are just two victories away and why would we think they wouldn’t get those victories in their next two games?
If they can manage to pull it off, the Knicks will close out the series in New York. Danhausen is already looking ahead to the inevitable parade and what he wants from it, lobbying Mayor Mamdani for his place within it:
