Denver Broncos linebacker Jonathan Cooper was arrested on Thursday night on two counts of domestic violence and criminal mischief. Reportedly, Cooper and his girlfriend Jade Fiegen had an altercation over a cheating allegation that led to the incident.

The news of Cooper’s arrest had fans flocking to the comments section on X.

Both Cooper and his girlfriend were taken into custody by the police.

The domestic violence incident took place at Cooper’s residence, where his long-term girlfriend accused him of being unfaithful. The confrontation turned physical when Fiegen snatched Cooper’s phone and flung it across the room. The Broncos LB physically hurdled with Fiegen before biting and cracking her iPhone after she refused to leave his apartment.
Reportedly, the responding officer flagged that conflicting statements from both sides and an absence of concrete physical evidence meant there were no grounds to pursue additional harassment or assault charges. As per the police affidavit, Cooper threw his GF multiple times on the floor during the altercation.

Cooper is now waiting on what the court decides, while the Broncos also wait for action to be taken against the linebacker.
