Josh Hart makes feelings clear on Knicks’ 2-0 NBA Finals lead

Josh Hart and the New York Knicks grabbed a 2-0 lead against the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA Finals. With the Knicks' 105-104 win and an opportunity to take a commanding 3-0 lead, Hart isn't taking the Spurs lightly entering Game 3.

For Hart, the Knicks still have to play better against the Spurs to win the NBA Finals.

“It's 0-0 at this point, as far as we're concerned. Being up 2-0 really means really nothing,” Hart said. “This team is going to come out on Monday with an unbelievable amount of energy and desperation, and we gotta be better.”

The Knicks are on a 13-game winning streak after taking a 2-0 lead against the Spurs in the NBA Finals. The Knicks squeezed out a one-point victory on the brightest stage, extending their streak amidst a generational run against Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs, according to ESPN's Brian Windhorst.

“The Knicks are a freaking winning machine,” Windhorst said.

“What we're seeing is a generational run, and they’re winning big, they’re winning small, they’re winning on the margins, they’re winning because Karl Towns totally outplayed Victor Wembanyama in the first half of this game in a way that we never expected to see. It’s really kinda fascinating to watch. You couldn’t have written this script because there was no way anybody could have foreseen this.”
