Browns’ Denzel Ward Makes His Intentions Clear

Even after the Cleveland Browns traded superstar defensive end Myles Garrett to the Los Angeles Rams on Monday in one of the NFL’s most shocking off-season moves, cornerback Denzel Ward has indicated he is still interested in remaining with the franchise.

As a result of the Garrett trade, Cleveland began to speculate that a broader roster overhaul was imminent, leading to concerns about the future of several veteran players, including Ward. According to multiple reports, the Browns do not plan to move their Pro Bowl cornerback.

ESPN NFL insider Jeremy Fowler reports that Cleveland is not making Ward available in trade discussions despite sending Garrett to Los Angeles. According to Fowler, the Browns are against trading Ward and are not conducting a fire sale after the blockbuster deal.
