The Cleveland Browns offense in 2025 was not only among the worst in the NFL but among the worst the franchise has fielded since 1999. The group had some highlights, sure, but for the most part, the squad struggled. Injuries, declining play, coaching turnover, and a host of other issues led to the team being at the bottom of the NFL rankings to close out the season. One former Browns player wants you to know it wasn't all on him or his position group, however.
Former All-Pro offensive guard Wyatt Teller, now with the Houston Texans, defended the offensive line from 2025 and rejected the notion that they were solely to blame for the team's struggles. Speaking to the media after a Texans' practice, Teller addressed not only his own struggles from 2025 but the team's offensive ones as well.
"It felt like they kinda blamed it on the offensive line," Teller said. "Which, don't get me wrong, did we play at our standard? We're a top five offensive line for so long, and then we kinda dropped off. There's so much issues...you can't point to one thing..."

Teller is looking for a fresh start with the Texans after a successful run in Cleveland that turned sour near the end. Despite Teller being let go as part of the team's overhaul of the offense, the former Offensive Player of the Year candidate has a positive view of his time in Cleveland. That doesn't mean a change may not help the former standout, as he believes that he became complacent during his time with the team.
Teller credits the move to the Texans for helping "fire him up" and getting back into shape for the upcoming 2026 season.
