The agent of former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has spoken of his annoyance at rumours linking the German with the Real Madrid job.
It is now two years since the 58-year-old left Anfield, with Arne Slot coming and going since then, being replaced by Andoni Iraola.
Since Klopp has been in the role of Head of Global Soccer at Red Bull, overseeing matters at RB Leipzig and Red Bull Salzburg.
But the Madrid presidency race has seen Klopp thrown into the drama, with candidate Enrique Riquelme saying that he wants him as manager if he is elected on Sunday.
Despite this, Klopp’s agent Marc Kosicke has shot down the idea of his client taking charge at the Bernabeu.

“It’s annoying!” Kosicke said.
“Jurgen Klopp is happy in his role at Red Bull and has no ambitions to work as a coach at a club.”
Meanwhile, a statement from Riquelme’s office read: “We know that Jurgen Klopp has publicly stated that he has no intention of returning to the dugout in the short term and that he has turned down numerous offers.
“That is precisely why we believe the challenge of Real Madrid is different. Because there are great clubs, but there is only one Real Madrid.
“There is only one institution capable of uniting tradition and future, values and ambition, passion and excellence.”
Could Jurgen Klopp really take charge at Real Madrid?

As things stand, it still feels likely that Florentino Perez will again win the Madrid presidency race, with Jose Mourinho to join Los Blancos should that happen.
But even if Enrique wins, it is hard to see Klopp wanting the job.
He is also not the type of manager who wants to be at a club led by egos and drama, so it would be a shock to see him there any time soon.
Klopp seems happy in his current role and if he does return to management, it is far easier to see him take charge of the German national team, for example.
