[Police](https://www.edinburghlive.co.uk/all-about/missing-people) have launched an urgent search for a missing Edinburgh man. Rhys Williams, 51, was last seen around 12pm on Sunday, June 7, in the Northfield Avenue area.
Officers believe he left in his blue Vauxhall Corsa. He is described as around 5ft 7in tall, of stocky build, with white/grey hair.
It's understood he is wearing blue shorts and a t-shirt. Officers are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
Inspector Stewart Massie said: “Enquiries to trace Rhys are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have seen him to contact us.
“We’d also appeal to Rhys directly – if you see this, please get in touch with us.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference 1464 of Sunday, 7 June, 2026.”
