When it comes to getting tickets for Game 3 of the NBA Finals between the New York Knicks and San Antonio Spurs at Madison Square Garden, things have gone completely off the rails.
For starters, the get-in price on the secondary market for Game 3, when the Knicks will look to take a 3-0 lead in the series, is $6,477, according to TickPick.

That is actually down by several thousands of dollars due to increased supply.
However, the get-in cost for Game 4 of the NBA Finals is still a ridiculously robust $11,961.
But that might not even be the craziest thing pertaining to NBA Finals tickets.

According to a post on X, one fan jumped in a queue to get Knicks tickets this morning and was met with a line that had 493,831 people.
Charity auction reaches $500,000
Another avenue to score a ticket is the charity auction the NBA is holding for a courtside seat, but unless you’re willing to drop enough money that can buy a whole house, you aren’t likely to land the ticket.

The highest bid as of this writing is an astounding $500,000.
“I kind of wish the ticket prices weren’t as crazy as they are,” New York Knicks guard Josh Hart said. “I feel like a lot of people who have been waiting for this moment for a very long time unfortunately aren’t able to get into the building.”

President Donald Trump will be in attendance for the game on Monday night, and that may be bad news for priced-out New York Knicks fans who were hoping to attend a watch party near Madison Square Garden.
According to CBS News’ Nicole Sganga, the plan is to cancel watch parties around the arena as preparations are made for Trump’s arrival to MSG.
“Officials are planning for no watch parties (outside Madison Square Garden), no vehicle access and no pedestrian travel through the secured area, which sits in a busy part of Midtown Manhattan and is above a major transit hub,” Sganga writes.

There is still hope the watch parties won’t be canceled, though, as Ian Begley of SNY reports no decision has been made yet.
“Hearing no decision has been made yet either way (for) watch parties for Game 3,” he said.
In anticipation of the issues the president’s attendance at the game will cause, Knicks fans have voiced their frustration on social media.
It’s just an unfortunate situation all around for your average Knicks fan, who has waited a very long time for this moment.
