Knicks fans savagely heckle Spurs players before Game 3

New York Knicks fans can't be stopped right now.

With Jalen Brunson and the Knicks just two wins away from capturing the franchise's first-ever NBA championship since 1973, New York fans can't contain their excitement, especially with the team about to play its first NBA Finals home game since the turn of the century.

Knicks fans have also started heckling the Spurs a day before Game 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York.

In a video making the rounds on social media, Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs were heckled by Knicks diehards as San Antonio players and staff boarded the team bus.

One fan even targeted Wembanyama with a hilarious message.

“Yo Wemby, get ready to go golfing, buddy!” the fan shouted.

New York fans have their full support for their beloved Knicks, who stole not one but two games at Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas, to start the NBA Finals with a 2-0 series lead. Now, it's time for Knicks supporters to see their team play at home on Monday, for a chance to essentially win the NBA title.

Since no team has ever won a series after going down 3-0 in an NBA playoff series, a win in Game 3 for the Knicks would virtually assure them the Larry O'Brien Trophy.

Still, the job is far from finished for Mike Brown's squad and the Spurs remain a huge threat.

The last time the Knicks played an NBA Finals game at Madison Square Garden, the Spurs defeated them in Game 5 of the 199 Finals to take the league crown.
