NBA gets ridiculed by fans over Victor Wembanyama post before Spurs-Knicks Game 3

San Antonio Spurs center Victor Wembanyama will be a man on a mission when they visit the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden in Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Monday.

The historic venue will be loud, to say the least, and Wembanyama wants nothing else but to silence the crowd and get some payback against the Knicks, who stole the home-court advantage from the Spurs after winning the first two games.

Knowing how competitive and passionate the 22-year-old superstar is, expect him to bring it and make a statement. Wembanyama must be extra motivated on a personal level since he has been outplayed by Knicks center Karl-Anthony Towns.

The NBA, as part of hyping up Game 3, posted a video of Wembanyama arriving at Madison Square Garden during one of their meetings in the regular season.

Fans, however, roasted the NBA for the poor quality of the audio.

“I'm crying at this audio,” said @ImKingStevee.

“I think there’s something wrong with the audio,” added @fusion11_.

“Why does it sound like it's being filmed from the wing of a commercial jet?” asked @jrobak1313.

“No one thought to check the audio, LOL,” commented @Lutzsolar.

“Bro, I thought my speakers were cooked, WTF,” wrote @tonytonychoppa7.

Wembanyama is averaging 27.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, 1.5 steals, and 3.5 blocks in the NBA Finals.

After a dud in Game 1, wherein he went 6-of-21 from the field, he was more efficient in Game 2, scoring 29 points on 11-of-21 shooting from the floor. He, however, committed a crucial turnover in the dying seconds, allowing the Knicks to steal the win.

But unlike the NBA's video, Wembanyama wants to make it loud and clear: The Spurs are far from done.
