Andoni Iraolaa 's reign has begun at Liverpool, and a big summer lies ahead in the transfer window to ensure that he has the best chance of success after replacing Arne Slot.
Iraola was officially confirmed as the new Liverpool head coach last Thursday, with the former Bournemouth boss reunited with sporting director Richard Hughes. The pair will now plan what is set to be an important few months after a disappointing 2025/26 campaign.
Supporters will be hoping for plenty of fresh faces to make their way to Anfield, not least Yan Diomande, who has emerged as one of the Reds' primary targets already.
They will also be hoping they've seen the last of speculation regarding Rio Ngumoha's future for now. The youngster's stock continues to rise after making his international debut for England ahead of the World Cup, and he's been attracting interest from Bayern Munich, with the German giant having been in contact with him.
Ngumoha's not the only forward linked with a move, with Federico Chiesa looking likely to exit this summer, and the Italian has spoken out about his future, as well as two of his teammates.

Yan Diomande talks
Liverpool has made contact with RB Leipzig for Yan Diomande, but PSG remains in the race for the 19-year-old forward, who is a primary target for the Reds this summer.
Diomande was a revelation in the Bundesliga last season and can play on either flank. He would be an ideal addition for Andoni Iraola, but he won't come cheap.
Spending a huge chunk of money on someone so young could be a risk. It might also mean that there isn't cash available to spend on other areas of the team, with a few signings needed to bolster the Liverpool ranks.
