Newcastle United have a history of signing Arsenal academy stars who do not make the cut at the Emirates.
Newcastle United are reportedly interested in Arsenal prospect Ethan Nwaneri following his Marseille loan move.
The 19-year-old spent the second half of last season in France to gain valuable first-team experience. Given the abundance of talent in Arsenal’s ranks, he could be on the move again this summer.
Nwaneri operates as a right-winger or No.10 and faces stiff competition from Bukayo Saka, Eberechi Eze, Martin Odegaard and Noni Madueke. He may feel as though he needs to leave his boyhood club to kick-start his career.

It is not stated whether Arsenal are open to a loan move or transfer fee as Nwaneri remains highly rated. However, there is an acknowledgement that the England under-21 star might need to move on to benefit his career.
Mikel Arteta on Marseille loan move

“The last thing that we want is to cut his development because he’s such a talent and someone who lives and breathes football. That’s his life. After discussing it with him, his father, the agent, and the club, we decided the best thing to do was to leave and go on loan.”
