Marc Kosicke, the agent of Liverpool legend Jurgen Klopp, has categorically ruled out the possibility of the German taking over at Al Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League.

Klopp has been linked with a return to management in the Middle East after leaving Liverpool in the summer of 2024. However, Kosicke says there is "no chance" of that happening.

Last week, Real Madrid presidential candidate Enrique Riquelme also claimed he would hire Klopp if he was elected by the Bernabeu side. That is despite there being no suggestion that the former Reds boss would be interested in that role either.

Former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is expected to replace Xabi Alonso, who was fired in January. But Klopp's name was brought up among a series of promises that would probably never be delivered on.

"The manager we want for our Real Madrid project is Jurgen Klopp," Riquelme said. "On Monday, if we win the elections, our director Raul will get in touch with Klopp."

In terms of a move to Saudi Arabia, the speculation should be quelled by Klopp's representative making a categorical statement on the matter.

"I am annoyed by all this bulls--t," Kosicke is quoted as telling WinWin. "It's all annoying and nonsense."

Liverpool appointed Andoni Iraola as its new head coach last week. The Spaniard has been compared to Klopp in terms of his preferred style.

"I didn’t know a lot about him [Iraola]," Klopp said in 2023. "The start of the season, obviously, the results, if you don’t take a proper look at Bournemouth, it can happen.

"But they turned it around, wow. That’s real coaching. He found a way to set this team up.

Liverpool FC have launched their new home kit for the 2026/27, inspired by iconic adidas strip worn during the club's 1989/90 title-winning campaign.

"They have a really good mix, they play football, they find direction in the right moments, they use Dom Solanke in a sensational way.

"The support he gets from the center, from the wings. The way they defend, really good, really compact."

Liverpool.com says: Klopp becoming the manager of Germany after Julian Nagelsmann feels realistic, but a return to the club game is quite hard to imagine.

It doesn't look like he's missing it that much, and his current role allows him to stay in the game, but without the day-to-day stresses that come with taking charge of a top team.
