Kayshon Boutte might want to play for a new team, but he intends to fulfil his short-term contractual obligations to the New England Patriots.
The fourth-year receiver didn't attend voluntary offseason training activities (OTAs), and reportedly is "interested" in being traded following the Patriots' acquisition of A.J. Brown. Many wondered whether he'd skip New England's mandatory minicamp, which runs Tuesday through Thursday, but Boutte last weekend told WBZ-TV's Aaron Parseghian that he plans to show up.
Boutte, appearing at a football camp in Franklin, Mass., also addressed the ongoing trade rumors.
“I try not to buy into (rumors)," Boutte said. "I could control what I could control. As long as I’m doing what I’m supposed to be doing off the field, everything else will play out.”

Boutte joined the Patriots as a sixth-round pick in 2023.
After an underwhelming rookie season, the LSU product broke out in 2024 with 43 catches for 589 yards and three touchdowns in 15 games. He was equally impressive last season, posting 33 catches for 551 yards and six TDs in 14 games while emerging as Drake Maye's top downfield target.
