Jurgen Klopp has sent a playful update to fans amid plenty of speculation over a potential return to management.

The strongest and most recurring rumour has centred on a possible return to the dugout at Real Madrid.

He had been heavily linked as Enrique Riquelem’s preferred candidate if he were to win the presidential elections, but Florentino Perez has once again held on to power.

Jose Mourinho is expected to be announced as the new Real Madrid manager imminently.

Saudi Pro League outfit Al-Ittihad have also reportedly joined the chase, branding the 58-year-old their “dream” managerial target after parting company with Sergio Conceicao.

Intriguingly, the links with the Saudi club have not been limited to a traditional coaching role either, with Klopp’s name also floated as a potential sporting director-style figure in a revamped football structure.

But his agent, Marc Kosicke, has already moved to shut down all the rumours once again:

“I’m tired of all this nonsense, it’s all provocative and these allegations are just nonsense,” Kosicke exclusively said to WinWin.

WinWin reporter Ismael Mahmoud also added:

“His agent also confirmed to me that there is absolutely no chance of Klopp taking on a technical director position or any administrative role at Al-Ittihad.”

Now taking to Instagram, Klopp posted two images captioned “…guess where I’m going…” before revealing that he will be heading to the World Cup and not a club job that has been reported in some sections of the media:

The Liverpool legend will be a pundit for MagentaTV throughout the World Cup, something he has admitted he is very excited about.

He said about the punditry role: “I really want to experience this World Cup again from the experts’ perspective. At the same time, I know that this marathon tournament will offer its own challenges. At MagentaTV, we want to inspire people with the right mix of football expertise and entertainment and always be close to the action.”
