A.J. Brown Raves About Second-Year Patriots WR After Watching Him At Practices

It hasn't taken long for A.J. Brown to be sold on Kyle Williams.

Despite an underwhelming rookie season, Williams has an opportunity to earn a large role on the Patriots offense next season. With Brown and Romeo Doubs locked in as New England's top two receivers, Williams will compete with the likes of DeMario Douglas, Mack Hollins, Efton Chism III and, perhaps, Kayshon Boutte, for the No. 3 spot.

While appearing at a charity basketball event last weekend, Brown went out of his way to praise Williams after seeing him work at practice.

"K-Dub is cold, bro," Brown said, pointing to Williams. "K-Dub (is) cold."

AJ Brown on joining the #Patriots:

“It’s amazing, bruh. It’s exciting, bruh. I’m just ready to ball.”

Brown also seems to be impressed with Kyle Williams early on 👀

Williams, a third-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, posted just 10 catches for 209 yards and three touchdowns as a rookie. He and quarterback Drake Maye rarely appeared to be on the same page.

However, the Washington State product offered glimpses of his vast potential, and he has more than enough talent to emerge as a dangerous deep threat in the Patriots offense.
