Timberwolves rebrand brings back iconic Kevin Garnett-era tree trim

The Minnesota Timberwolves have unveiled a fresh new look to its logo, uniform collection and court design.

The new era for the Wolves leans heavily into the team’s history while aiming to capture the energy of the current roster. The iconic tree-lined trim, which is notable from the Kevin Garnett era of the late 1990s and early 2000s, is officially back.

Team officials say the rebrand was shaped by years of fan feedback.

> “This franchise means something different to every generation of fans,” Timberwolves & Lynx CEO Matt Caldwell said in a statement. “We wanted this new look to reflect the pieces of Timberwolves basketball fans have always connected with, while also feeling true to the team and culture surrounding this franchise today.”
