France head coach Didier Deschamps has reportedly urged Arsenal target Bradley Barcola to settle his club future before the start of the World Cup, amid growing speculation over the Paris Saint-Germain winger’s long-term plans.
Barcola, currently playing for Paris Saint-Germain, has emerged as one of the most sought-after young attackers in Europe following a breakthrough spell that has drawn attention from several elite clubs, including Arsenal.
According to reports in France, Deschamps is keen to ensure that key members of his national team squad are not distracted by unresolved transfer speculation heading into a crucial international period.
The France manager is said to have privately encouraged Barcola to clarify his situation early in the summer window in order to maintain focus and continuity at both club and international level.
