The House Judiciary subcommittee looking into the 1961 Sports Broadcasting Act will hold a hearing at 10 a.m. Wednesday with Outkick Media President Clay Travis, Citizen’s Grill founder and managing partner Jim Hallers and Curtis LeGeyt, the president / CEO of the National Association of Broadcasters. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell was invited to testify but declined. The hearing is entitled, “Examining the Sports Broadcasting Act,” as Congress examines the continued validity of the antitrust exemption granted to leagues in 1961 (_SBJ_).
