“The Joe Brady Era”: NFL Analyst Keeping an Eye on Buffalo Bills Head Coach Joe Brady as…

The Buffalo Bills have one goal in mind and that is to win a Super Bowl. Buffalo finished with a 12-5 record last season and lost in the AFC Divisional Round to the Denver Broncos. Quarterback Josh Allen has never been to the Super Bowl in his career. The Bills made a bold move and fired Sean McDermott as head coach.

They promoted offensive coordinator Joe Brady to be the new head coach for this franchise. They made this move because Buffalo feels like they need to reach another level in order to get to the Super Bowl and potentially win a title. The Bills made some other moves with the roster in the offseason. There has also been a lot of criticism toward general manager Brandon Beane this offseason.

Mike Jones of the Athletic is keeping an eye on some headlines as Mandatory Minicamp opens up this week. He is keeping an eye on how things are going to be in Buffalo, New York with Brady being the new head coach for the Bills. Jones said,

“The Joe Brady era

The Bills also made a surprising move in the offseason, firing coach Sean McDermott after missing a trip to the AFC Championship Game by inches. Now leading the show: former offensive coordinator Joe Brady.

The 36-year-old has a good relationship with quarterback Josh Allen, which is key. To get the Bills over that long-problematic hump, Brady must be more than a talented play caller. He has to serve as part talent evaluator, part CEO, part problem-solver and teacher. He must figure out how to solve the inconsistencies that have plagued Allen’s wide receiving unit. This offseason, the Bills traded for veteran D.J. Moore and drafted Skyler Bell in the fourth round. They’re hoping Joshua Palmer can rebound from an injury-shortened 2025 campaign, and that third-year pro Keon Coleman can finally live up to his potential. Meanwhile, the Bills’ defensive players are learning an entirely new system led by first-year coordinator Jim Leonhard.”

Allen is one of the best quarterbacks in the league. They acquired wide receiver D.J. Moore from the Chicago Bears in a trade this offseason. This will help the Bills offense big time this offseason. However, maybe the defense will finally be different under head coach Brady. Having Jim Leonhard as the new defensive coordinator is a good hire for this Buffalo franchise. The Bills are not going to be judged during the offseason. Buffalo will be judged upon on how things go in the regular season and the postseason.
