Liverpool are ready to go big to strengthen their squad this summer for new manager Andoni Iraola, and a number of targets are being eyed up.
The Reds have seen a number of stars depart this summer, including Mohamed Salah and Ibrahima Konate, while there have been numerous links for other stars to depart in paid deals, including the likes of Alisson Becker, Curtis Jones, and Cody Gakpo.
But with so many players linked with moves away from Anfield, replacements and refreshments will be needed, and the club are targeting some megastars to potentially bolster for the boss.
Liverpool Eyeing Arda Guler Deal
Arda Guler
According to Sports Boom, Liverpool are eyeing up a move to sign Real Madrid sensation Arda Guler this summer.
Guler, who has been described as 'generational', has emerged as a top target for a number of European clubs this summer following a fantastic season in the Bernabeu, where he registered six goals and 13 assists in all competitions.
Chelsea are understood to be the club who are the most advanced, and it's reported that they are considering tabling a formal offer worth £100m to convince the La Liga giants to part ways with the playmaker.
But Liverpool are also in the race for his signature and are keeping a close eye on his situation, although as it stands Real Madrid have absolutely no interest in allowing the Turkey international to depart this summer, either permanently or on loan.
Liverpool are keen to add more creativity to their attack, and Guler is seen as someone who could come into the side and compliment the likes of Florian Wirtz, Alexander Isak, and Hugo Ekitike, once he returns from injury.
With Jose Mourinho set to take over at Real Madrid, it remains to be seen where Guler will stand in his plans. While Guler is prioritising staying at Real Madrid, it's noted that his representatives are not closing the door to preliminary talks with English clubs

Liverpool's forward area is incredibly thin at the moment, and signings are a necessity for Iraola in order to find a way to get back to a title challenge next season.
Currently Ekitike is unlikely to play again until 2027, while Isak and Wirtz had very difficult debut campaigns. Federico Chiesa is expected to move on, while the likes of Gakpo and Ngumoha have been strongly linked with moves away.
The team is very light on options, but bringing in a player like Guler would offer unbelievable quality, creativity, and skill, and would be a major coup for the new manager.
