Kayshon Boutte Wants To Be With Patriots For 'Rest Of (His) Career' Amid Trade Rumors

New England Patriots wide receiver Kayshon Boutte said Sunday that he planned to attend the team's upcoming mandatory minicamp, which runs Tuesday through Thursday.

This came after the 24-year-old skipped the Patriots' voluntary offseason training activities (OTAs) in late May.

Boutte also discussed the trade rumors surrounding him while appearing at a football camp in Franklin, Mass.

"I want to be in New England for the rest of my career," the LSU product told WBZ's Dan Roche. "I’ve enjoyed it out here. Been here three years. Every day I’m here. I call this home. This is my new home. Grew up in Louisiana, stayed there 20 years, but now Boston is my life."

New England not only traded for three-time Pro Bowler A.J. Brown last week but signed former Green Bay Packers standout Romeo Doubs in March as well.

Brown and Doubs join a projected pass-catching group that also includes DeMario Douglas, Efton Chism III, Kyle Williams and Mack Hollins.

Boutte finished the 2025 regular season second on the Patriots in touchdown receptions (six) and third in receiving yards (551) despite missing three games.
