Jaylen Brown just had a career year with the Celtics, excelling in his role as the team's number one option, while Jayson Tatum missed most of the season rehabbing from an achilles injury.
He's already one of the highest-paid players in the NBA, but Brown joked that he'd leave the team in one circumstance that involves a hefty check.

He's enjoying his time off, though, and he's currently on a trip in Asia, experiencing different cultures there.
Some clips from his trip have been floating around online, including one where he jokes around about what it would take for him to move there and play for a team.
"Listen up: Shanghai, wire the money and I'm out. If you give me a 400 million contract, Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Wing Chun... I'll play for all the teams at once! I'll be the first player in history to suit up for every team simultaneously," Brown said (via @CelticsBrr).

Brown doesn't seem to be too serious when he says this, as it was said in response to fans or haters saying he needs to leave the NBA to play for the Shanghai Sharks, which is usually a joke fans make when they think an NBA player isn't good anymore and needs to play overseas.
Brown's current contract with the Celtics lasts through the 2028-29 season and is worth about $285 million.
In the 2025-26 season, Brown averaged 28.7 points, 6.9 rebounds and 5.1 assists.
