Texas Tech quarterback Brendan Sorsby has been ruled eligible to play in 2026 after a drawn-out process related to his gambling history. While it was widely expected that he would be ineligible and would have to enter the NFL Supplemental Draft, now he will be heading back to Lubbock.

Hours after the final decision was made, Sorsby released a statement on the outcome, shared by Pete Thamel of ESPN.
