Knicks’ Game 3 gets major Danhausen twist after he ‘uncursed’ New York

President Donald Trump won't be the only celebrity at the New York Knicks' Game 3 against the San Antonio Spurs, as WWE star Danhausen is expected to be there as well after “uncursing” the home team.

PWInsider reports that the “Very Nice, Very Evil” Superstar is “internally expected to be a guest” at the game on Monday, June 8. This would give him a chance to potentially get his wish to sit between Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner.

Whether or not he actually attends the game remains to be seen. If he does, he will likely be among several other celebrities like Ben Stiller, Spike Lee, and Fat Joe.

Some may credit the WWE Superstar for his role in the Knicks' Finals run. He “uncursed” them earlier in the postseason, and they have not lost since.

They are currently on a 13-game win streak, the second-longest in the postseason ever. In 2017, the Golden State Warriors won 15 games in a row.

If they extend it to a 15-game win streak, they will have swept their last three playoff opponents (the Philadelphia 76ers, the Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Spurs). A lot is at stake in Game 3, and the Knicks know it. At one point, they were down 2-1 to the Atlanta Hawks in the first round of the playoffs. They then won the next three games, all by double digits. New York then moved on to their series against the Sixers and the Cavs.

The Knicks haven't won a championship since 1973, making it over 53 years since their last title. They won the first two games of the NBA Finals in San Antonio, going into hostile territory and coming out on top. New York has a chance to put the series away over the next two games.
