Arsenal have made a firm move to sign PSG teenager Emmanuel Mbemba on a free transfer, and it looks like one of the sharper bits of Arsenal transfer news to come out of this summer window.

At just over £150,000 in training compensation, the Gunners can land a highly-rated teenager without paying a notable fee. The club have already put a clear development plan in front of him, and those close to the deal say it has left a strong impression.
Arsenal’s pitch to Mbemba, as reported by BBC, included a direct reference to William Saliba, highlighting how the French defender spent time on loan at Marseille before becoming a key pillar of Arteta’s backline. The message for Mbemba was to simply follow the same path, growing away from the Emirates before earning his spot in the first team. Why Mbemba favours a move to Arsenal?
