In fact, recently, ESPN NBA insider Shams Charania detailed an encounter he had with the Secret Service on the streets of New York City.
“I was actually stopped by Secret Service… because my AirPod fell, and Secret Service came up to me and said ‘Hey, Secret Service. You're going to have to get out of the intersection.' So I had to get out,” said Charania, per his account on X, formerly Twitter.

Clearly, the Secret Service and other security teams are pulling out all the stops to keep Madison Square Garden as a secure environment on Monday.
The Knicks had already cautioned fans to show up at least two hours before tipoff in order to make it into the arena on time due to increased security screening, and the area around the arena has been blocked off from everyone except fans, media, and other authorized personnel.
On the court, the Knicks will be looking to put together another strong effort in this one after taking the first two games on the road, something no team had done in the NBA Finals since 1995.
If they win Game 3, the Knicks will have a chance to secure their first championship in 53 years during Game 4 on Wednesday evening, once again at Madison Square Garden.
