However, Towns knows that against Wembanyama and the Spurs, winning Game 3 will be a tall task, he said, per Call Me Agent's X, formerly Twitter.
“A generational player. Something we’ve never seen before,” Towns said. “To be able to play in this moment against the best, is all you can ask for.”
In their NBA Finals debut, Knicks' Karl-Anthony Towns and Wembanyama have been a must-see TV matchup throughout the best-of-7's first two games, and Game 3 will most likely be no different.

Ahead of Game 3, Wembanyama addressed how the Spurs have to find the willpower to put a win together, he said, after losing Game 2 by one point at home.
“The challenge [has] been mostly about willpower, the will to do it, and I feel like I'll take a breather at the end of the season,” Wembanyama said.

Wembanyama led the Spurs with 29 points on 11-for-21 shooting, including a pair of threes, 5-for-8 free-throw attempts, nine rebounds, four blocks, two assists, and two steals in Game 2's 105-104 loss.
