The Knicks return home with a commanding 2-0 lead in the NBA Finals. There is a lot being said about the fact that no team has ever won the first two games on the road and lost the series. That’s true, but at the same time, it’s only happened TWICE before this season, as most of the time, the home team is just flat out the better team.
That’s not the case this time, as the change to the Knicks in Game 3 altered the DNA of this Knicks team, and made them a much better team than the Spurs. So it just plain ol’ made sense that the Knicks beat this Spurs team.
The 1995 Rockets and the 1993 Bulls were better than the 1995 Magic and 1993 Suns. So this is just normal that the Knicks are up 2-0.
So now they just have to lock this series down by winning this game and make the rest of this Finals academic.

The Knicks just kept their cool, and the Spurs very much did NOT.

I can’t believe that you and I both wanted to say Knicks in 4, but couldn’t bring us to go there, and yet, we should have, I guess!
Win tonight and it’s just about over.
