The NBA recently struck a blow to teams who are proponents of tanking after the league’s owners approved a proposal that would essentially eliminate rewarding losing teams with high draft picks. Just recently, a pair of fans were investigated and one was ultimately banned from sitting courtside after reportedly accusing New York Knicks’ star Jalen Brunson of flopping while using vulgar language. Oklahoma City Thunder star and reigning MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has also been accused of flopping during this year’s playoffs.
