BUCS SIGN FORMER STEELERS KICKER
The Steelers’ coaching staff underwent a huge overhaul this offseason. Mike Tomlin resigned, and the team consequently parted ways with most of his assistants. Many of them landed with other teams, including special teams coach Danny Smith, who joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the same role.
Smith’s presence has helped the Bucs add some former Steelers special teamers, including Miles Killebrew. More recently, the Bucs signed kicker B.T. Potter, per Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times on Twitter. Potter was only with the Steelers during the offseason in 2023, but Smith is still familiar with him. We’ll see if he sticks with the Bucs for longer than he did with the Steelers.
Bucs signed kicker B.T. Potter and waived punter Aidan Laros.
Potter (5-10, 200) has previous NFL experience with the Pittsburgh Steelers, appearing in the 2023 preseason with them.

STEELERS FOR A DAY WINNERS
International games are becoming a bigger part of the NFL every year. The Steelers are well aware of that. They played in the league’s first regular-season game in Ireland last year, and they’ll make history once again this year. They’re set to face the New Orleans Saints in Paris, France. While there might not be as many Steelers fans there, their wide-reaching fanbase should still represent them well.
They also have a strong presence in Mexico. A pair of Steelers fans from Mexico recently won the Steeler for a Day contest, traveling to Pittsburgh for a great experience with the team, as shared by Steelers en Español on Twitter. It’s an example not only of how the Steelers appreciate their fans, but also of how much support they have in other countries.

CHIEFS BRING BACK SNEED
The Steelers are hoping to be Super Bowl contenders in 2026. However, the AFC has a host of imposing teams that could stand in their way. That includes the Kansas City Chiefs, who are hoping to bounce back after a down year last season. They’ve been a powerhouse in the conference for years.
The Chiefs recently brought back a key piece of some of their championship teams, too. ESPN insider Adam Schefter recently reported that the Chiefs have signed corner L’Jarius Sneed. They originally drafted him in the fourth round in 2020, and he played there for four seasons. Sneed has spent the last two seasons with the Tennessee Titans, and while he hasn’t been as good, perhaps he’ll bounce back.
