Danhausen takes ‘a little bit of credit’ for Knicks playoff run ahead of Game 3

While the New York Knicks lead the NBA Finals series 2-0, WWE star Danhausen is taking “a little bit of credit” for their success.

Danhausen joined Vanessa Richardson, Iman Shumpert, and Knicks legend Jeremy Lin for Hoop Streams, where they discussed the Knicks and San Antonio Spurs entering Game 3. Richardson began asking the WWE superstar how he's feeling for tonight's game (June 8).

“I feel pretty good,” Danhausen said. “I hope we get to 3-0 and then I think it's smooth sailing. But who knows, it's not over yet right?”

Richardson, Shumpert, and Lin nodded and agreed with Danhausen.

“You might be responsible for the streak that the Knicks are on. You uncursed the Knicks on April 28,” Richardson said before asking, “Are you responsible for this Knicks run?

“It's a team effort. It's not over until it's over like they keep saying, but it's a team effort,” he said before jokingly adding, “It's Danhausen and the Knicks, but I'll take a little bit of credit, though.”

“I do have a special mission I’ve been sent on and that is for the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight,” Danhausen said during an appearance on NBA Today. “Let them know that they are cursed.”
