Josh Hart got himself into a scuffle with Luke Kornet during Game 3 of the 2026 NBA Finals between the New York Knicks and the San Antonio Spurs on Monday night.
Hart is going through the ninth season of his NBA career, his fourth with the Knicks. He shines as a valuable two-way star for the team, helping them get to the NBA Finals for the first time since 1999.
Going into the game, New York boasts a 2-0 series lead. They stunned San Antonio on the road in Games 1 and 2, being two wins away from the franchise's first title since 1973.
This means a lot of emotions and physicality will be present in the showdown. And it certainly showed up when Hart and Kornet got into it during the first quarter. Hart made a layup on the fastbreak as he seemed to go after the ball, then believed that Kornet blindsided him. This resulted in the scuffle that ended up with Hart getting a technical foul for shoving Kornet in response.
